 We had a wonderful time at our first showing at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival in Minnesota. We met so many great vendors, both in the barn and the buildings, met fiber enthusiasts who had wonderful questions and ideas---and of course, we did a little shopping ourselves. This year's coming challenge from what we learned at the festival? Mastering (or at least understanding) the drop spindle!  We did some spinning in our booth and had some watercolors (painted right there in the barn) for folks who love sheep and were curious about the California Red Breed. We brought four ewes who participated in the sheep shearing demonstration and left happily wearing much less than they arrived in.  We've already made a list of things we want to improve on for next year for our display and meeting the requests of the people who came through the barn. We hope to see you there!
